Positive trend in U.S. stock market pre-market trading
Istanbul, June 15 (Hibya) - A positive outlook was observed in pre-market trading ahead of the opening of U.S. markets.
A positive trend was seen in pre-market trading in the United States. All futures indices posted gains, while the fear index (VIX) declined.
The Dow Jones futures index (DJIA) rose 0.14 percent to 49,988.70 points. The S&P 500 futures index gained 0.22 percent, reaching 7,282.99 points.
The technology-heavy NASDAQ index advanced 0.27 percent to 25,237.54 points, while the Russell 2000 (RUSS 2K) index climbed 0.73 percent to 2,856.15 points.
The VIX index, which measures market volatility, fell 0.07 percent to 15.75 points.
