Lisbon, June 15 (Hibya) – Portugal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Russia’s attacks against Ukraine.

The statement said that the attacks targeted civilians, residential areas, and cultural heritage.
It particularly emphasized that damage to UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra constitutes a serious threat to Ukraine’s cultural and historical identity.
The statement said: “We reiterate our steadfast support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and emphasize the need to achieve a just and lasting peace based on International Law.”
