Dutch Minister of Defence Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius announced that a wreath was laid at the cemetery and that 22 Dutch soldiers buried there were honored and remembered.
Yeşilgöz-Zegerius stated that the commemoration served as a reminder of the value of freedom and emphasized that these sacrifices should never be forgotten.
