Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel held a bilateral meeting with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.

During the meeting, relations between Portugal and Jordan were discussed, with particular emphasis on trade and economic issues.

It was stated that strengthening cooperation in the fields of energy, water management, agriculture, and security was also on the agenda.

The parties also evaluated the current geopolitical situation and noted that the two countries demonstrate aligned approaches on many issues.

Within the scope of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two ministries aimed at strengthening diplomatic training and increasing the sharing of information and documents.
