Portugal held the final event of its UN Security Council candidacy campaign
Lisbon, May 29 (Hibya) - According to a statement by the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the final event of the country's campaign for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council for the 2027-2028 term was held.

The statement noted that the event took place aboard the Portuguese Navy vessel NRP Sagres and that representatives of United Nations member states were invited to attend.
It was also stated that Portuguese fado music and Portuguese cuisine were highlighted during the event.
