Portugal and Hungary highlight the European agenda
Lisbon, April 17 (Hibya) – Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel held a phone call with Hungary’s incoming Foreign Minister nominee Anita Orbán to discuss European policies and bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, Orbán was congratulated on her electoral success, and best wishes were expressed regarding Hungary’s return to a European-oriented path.
The parties discussed the new challenges facing Europe, particularly evaluating issues such as the European Union budget and cohesion among member states. The importance of the positions of both cohesion countries and medium-sized countries was emphasized.
They also exchanged views on the current geopolitical situation and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
