In the statement, the ministry emphasized that these incidents cannot be considered temporary developments, stating, “This situation is part of a systematic approach targeting the Palestinian presence. The aim is to exclude the indigenous residents of the holy city, weaken their spiritual and human existence, and displace them from their land.”

The statement also stressed that the protection of Jerusalem and its sacred values is not an issue that can be postponed or treated merely as a political matter, but rather an urgent legal, moral, and humanitarian obligation. The ministry noted that the occupation has no sovereignty over occupied Jerusalem and its holy sites, in accordance with international law and international legitimacy resolutions.
