The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement regarding ongoing operations in the Gaza Strip.

According to the IDF statement, troops identified armed elements in central Gaza and those elements were neutralized.

The statement also said that troops operating in the northern area identified an element assessed to pose a security threat in the yellow line zone and intervened.

It was reported that in both incidents, the troops moved quickly after detection and eliminated the threats.

The IDF said that forces under the Southern Command will continue to be deployed in the area and that operations against security threats will continue.
