Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Council of Ministers, chaired by Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa, held its weekly meeting in Ramallah.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Mustafa praised the resilience of Palestinians, particularly those living in villages facing attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers. Mustafa instructed government institutions to accelerate work to meet the urgent needs of these areas.

The Cabinet decided to expedite emergency allocations for the villages of Kafr al-Dik and Bruqin and to address urgent needs in Qusra, south of Nablus.

The Cabinet also said that all necessary measures would be taken to hold the general elections scheduled for November 28. Citizens were urged to update their records and complete voter registration procedures.

The meeting noted an increase in settler attacks across Palestine, with 467 attacks recorded last week, and said Israeli forces had stepped up demolition operations targeting more than 75 Palestinian structures and homes.

The Finance Minister informed the Council of Ministers that efforts were continuing to ensure salaries are paid at the beginning of next week.

The Ministry of Agriculture said that 148,000 animals had so far been vaccinated and tagged as part of the livestock identification and vaccination campaign. The government was reported to have secured about 2 million vaccine doses.

The Cabinet also approved a cooperation agreement between India and Palestine on vocational training programs. Under the agreement, training programs are planned to be developed in areas such as graphic design, digital printing and maintenance of printing equipment.

The meeting also approved the committee's recommendations regarding the review of the National Qualifications Framework.

The Palestinian Council of Ministers declared Tuesday, August 25, 2026, an official holiday on the occasion of Mawlid al-Nabi.
