Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Dar receives UN Permanent Representative Iftikhar
Islamabad, December 30 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishak Dar discussed multilateral diplomacy and foreign policy priorities with Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar.
According to a statement by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishak Dar received Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, at the ministry.
During the meeting, Ambassador Asim provided Minister Dar with a comprehensive briefing on the activities of Pakistan’s Mission across various UN bodies, particularly the UN Security Council.
Iftikhar drew attention to efforts aimed at effectively advancing Pakistan’s core foreign policy priorities on multilateral platforms, including the Jammu and Kashmir issue and the Palestinian cause.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar emphasized the critical role of the United Nations and multilateral institutions in ensuring global peace, security, and economic development.
