China launches Tianhui-7 satellite into space
Beijing, December 30 (Hibya) – A new satellite was launched into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China.
According to CCTV, the Tianhui-7 satellite was launched at 12:12 Beijing time aboard a Long March-4B rocket and was successfully placed into its planned orbit.
The main applications of the new satellite include geographic mapping, land resource surveys and scientific research.
This operation was recorded as the 622nd launch mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
