Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar received Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, the Vatican's Secretary for Relations with States, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Gallagher's visit took place as part of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and the Vatican.

During the meeting, Dar commended the Vatican's role in promoting peace, interfaith harmony and dialogue. He also highlighted the valuable contributions of the Catholic community in Pakistan, particularly in the fields of education and healthcare.

Archbishop Gallagher, for his part, praised Pakistan's constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability through mediation, dialogue and diplomacy.

The meeting also addressed Pope Leo XIV's calls for peace and a just resolution of the Palestinian issue. Dar appreciated the Pope's position on the matter and emphasized Pakistan's continued solidarity with the Palestinian people. Both sides expressed deep concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis and stressed the importance of sustained international efforts to advance peace in the region.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening relations between Pakistan and the Vatican and fostering a culture of mutual respect, understanding and peaceful coexistence among different faiths.
