Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at an event held at the Mercaz HaRav Yeshiva in Jerusalem commemorating the 59th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem.

In his speech, Netanyahu emphasized the historical and religious significance of Jerusalem for Israel, evaluated his country’s security policies in recent years, and delivered strong messages toward Iran. He stated that Israel was “acting decisively” against the threats it faces.

Netanyahu argued that Israel’s military and political steps had changed regional balances and highlighted the country’s security and strategic capacity.

The speech also referenced Abraham Isaac Kook and religious themes, while historical narratives related to the reunification of Jerusalem and the 1967 war were also highlighted.

In his message regarding Israel’s future, Netanyahu emphasized unity, struggle, and “being on the right side of history.”
