Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared details of the attacks carried out against Hezbollah’s command structure and operational capacity.

Referring to the operation carried out, Netanyahu said, “Last night, in the heart of Beirut, we neutralized Hezbollah’s Radwan Force commander. This is the same senior terrorist who led the plan to seize the North.”

Speaking about the commander’s intentions, Netanyahu stated, “He thought he could continue directing attacks against our forces and communities from a secret terrorist headquarters in Beirut. He probably read in the press that he had immunity in Beirut. He read it, and that is no longer the case.”

Drawing attention to the overall balance of military activities and the situation on other fronts, Prime Minister Netanyahu said, “Over the past month, we have neutralized more than 200 Hezbollah terrorists who were involved in actions against Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers.”

Referring to the situation in Gaza as well, Netanyahu said, “We are doing the same in Gaza, eliminating terrorist cells.”
