Meloni: The relationship between Italy and Hungary is strong and solid
Rome, May 7 (Hibya) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with Hungary’s newly elected Prime Minister Peter Magyar at Palazzo Chigi.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni evaluated the bilateral relations between the two countries and the topics on the European agenda.
Providing information about the timing and content of the meeting, Meloni said, “This morning, ahead of the upcoming inauguration ceremony, I met with Hungary’s newly elected Prime Minister Peter Magyar at Palazzo Chigi and held a productive meeting.”
Referring to the topics discussed, Meloni stated, “We exchanged views on the main bilateral issues and the challenges Europe is facing: from strengthening the competitiveness of our system to managing migration flows and finding solutions to major international crisis scenarios.”
Emphasizing the future of ties between the two countries, Meloni said, “The relationship between Italy and Hungary is strong and solid, and we aim to strengthen it even further.”
