North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Mucunski held a meeting in Brussels with European Commission Director-General for Agriculture and Rural Development Elisabeth Werner.

Mucunski stated that during the meeting, which was also attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy of the Republic of North Macedonia, Cvetan Tripunovski, ongoing reforms, cooperation, and the implementation of the IPARD III program were discussed.

Emphasizing the strengthening of institutional capacity, Mucunski said: “We highlighted the strengthening of institutional and administrative capacity in line with EU standards. As part of our EU integration process, we assessed progress in advancing sustainable agriculture and rural development.”
