Mucunski attends Easter celebrations in the US
New Jersey, April 12 (Hibya) - North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski celebrated Easter with the Macedonian diaspora in the United States and held meetings at churches in New Jersey as part of his visit.
North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Mucunski celebrated Easter together with the Macedonian diaspora living in the United States.
Mucunski stated that Easter is a symbol of hope, faith, and unity, expressing his satisfaction at meeting the Macedonian community in the US.
As part of the visit, together with Interior Minister Pance Toskovski, the “St. Nicholas” and “Sts. Cyril and Methodius” churches in New Jersey were visited.
Mucunski emphasized that meeting with the diaspora conveys an important message for strengthening the ties of Macedonians abroad with their homeland. It was also noted that support is given to the diaspora’s efforts to preserve faith, traditions, and national identity.
Mucunski concluded his message with the words: “Christ is risen, Happy Easter.”
