Dublin, June 23 (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola met with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin in Dublin.

Following the meeting, Metsola said, “This is Ireland’s time to lead, and Europe is ready to move forward.”
Thanking Martin for the discussions, Metsola stated, “With your leadership and Ireland’s determination, Ireland’s 2026 Presidency of the Council of the European Union will be a success.”
Highlighting cooperation between the European Union and Ireland, Metsola added, “Let’s get off to a fast start from next Wednesday.”
