Metsola: A busy week begins for the European Parliament in Strasbourg
Strasbourg, September 13 (Hibya) – European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced the start of a busy week for the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said important agenda items would be addressed through State of the Union debates and with the participation of guest leaders.
Referring to the week’s program, Metsola said, “A busy week begins for the European Parliament in Strasbourg. From debates on the ‘State of the Union’ to welcoming Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Members of the European Parliament will continue their efforts to deliver concrete action.”
Outlining the goals for Europe’s future, Metsola said, “A stronger economy, a more stable voice in the world, and a safer Europe built on the foundations of freedom, security and justice.”
