Message of regional peace and cooperation from Pakistan and Norway
Islamabad, May 4 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar discussed regional developments, the peace process and strengthening bilateral relations in his meeting with his Norwegian counterpart Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik.
Dar held a meeting with his Norwegian counterpart Kravik at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting addressed the changing regional situation, while Pakistan’s efforts to promote dialogue and engagement in support of peace and stability in the region and beyond were emphasized.
Norwegian official Kravik expressed support for Pakistan’s constructive role toward the peaceful and lasting resolution of conflicts.
The parties also exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations and deepening cooperation across different sectors.
Kravik invited Ishaq Dar, on behalf of the Norwegian Foreign Minister, to the Oslo Forum event to be held next month. Dar expressed his pleasure at the invitation.
The meeting reportedly saw the two countries agree to maintain close contact and cooperation on peace, stability and development.
