Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that he had a positive phone conversation with United States President Donald Trump after returning from China.

Sharing his assessment of the content of the conversation and the common stance on Iran, Merz stated: “We agree on the following: Iran must immediately return to the negotiating table. The Strait of Hormuz must remain open. Tehran must not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.”

Merz also drew attention to his contacts regarding global security issues and alliance relations, saying: “We also discussed a peaceful solution for Ukraine and coordinated our positions ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara.”

Emphasizing the partnership between the two countries, Merz concluded his statement by saying: “The United States and Germany are strong partners in a strong NATO.”
