Meloni: We will continue to develop cooperation between Italy and Türkiye
Rome, September 5 (Hibya) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni welcomed the message and congratulations sent by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, highlighting the importance of further developing dialogue and cooperation between Italy and Türkiye.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that Italy and Türkiye are connected by historical ties and shared interests.
Noting that relations between Rome and Ankara have strengthened in recent years, Meloni said that the two countries work together not only on matters of common interest but also on major issues concerning the Mediterranean, security and regional stability.
Meloni said she believes cooperation between the two countries will continue through concrete steps and emphasized the importance of creating new opportunities for cooperation in the interests of their peoples.
