Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that she has been following developments in Venezuela since the outset.
Meloni said in her statement: “Italy, together with its main international partners, has never recognized Maduro’s self-proclaimed electoral victory, has condemned the regime’s repressive actions, and has always supported the Venezuelan people’s aspirations for a democratic transition.”
