Budrys: Decisions belong solely to Denmark and Greenland
Vilnius, January 5 (Hibya) — Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys stressed that Greenland is an integral part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Speaking about Greenland, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Budrys said that Greenland is an inseparable part of the Kingdom of Denmark, which is a strong democracy and a reliable NATO ally.
Budrys stated that all issues raised are part of transatlantic security, underlining that respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty is one of the fundamental pillars of global stability.
Emphasizing that all decisions regarding Greenland or Denmark belong solely to Denmark and the people of Greenland, Budrys noted that this principle is indispensable for the international order.
