Macron: SoftBank chose France
Paris, June 1 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron announced that SoftBank has approved an investment of 45 billion euros in France before 2031 to develop artificial intelligence infrastructure and create thousands of jobs.
French President Emmanuel Macron made a statement regarding the historic significance of SoftBank's investment decision for the country's digital infrastructure and employment.
Welcoming the investment decision, Macron said, "SoftBank chose France."
Highlighting the scale of the investment and the employment opportunities it will create, Macron stated, "A 45-billion-euro investment has been approved before 2031, and more will follow; this investment will be made to develop artificial intelligence infrastructure and create thousands of jobs."
Macron concluded his statement by saying, "This is a historic investment that makes France Europe's leading data center country."
