Kallas: EU will continue to counter Russia’s destabilizing activities
Brussels, September 24 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said the EU had imposed sanctions on Xenia Fedorova, stating that they were defending the information space against fabricated lies and deliberate manipulation.
European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said Europe is facing airspace violations, waves of sabotage and a flow of disinformation originating from Russia.
Kallas said that in this context, the EU had imposed sanctions on Xenia Fedorova, adding, “We are defending our information space against fabricated lies and deliberate manipulation. This is not censorship, it is deterrence.”
Kallas said the EU would continue to counter Russia’s destabilizing activities.
