Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to a statement by the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, Netanyahu congratulated Jansa on the opening of the Israeli Embassy in Ljubljana. Netanyahu also thanked the Slovenian Prime Minister for his support for Israel and for the transformation this had brought about in relations between the two countries.

The meeting addressed opportunities to deepen cooperation between the two countries in various fields. Netanyahu invited Jansa to visit Israel.
