Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten spoke about bilateral relations with Moldova and Moldova’s European Union (EU) process.

Emphasizing cooperation between the two countries, Jetten said, “The Netherlands and Moldova are working closely together in various fields. Today, I hosted Maia Sandu and we met to discuss and deepen our relations.”

Referring to Moldova’s strategic importance, Jetten stated, “Since the beginning of Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine, Moldova has been an important partner for neighboring Ukraine and the rest of Europe.”

Highlighting his country’s support for Moldova, Jetten said in his statement, “The Netherlands continues to support Moldova in this regard and therefore supports Moldova’s accession to the EU.”
