Ghalibaf: America’s forgotten people will pay the price of war merchants
Tehran, May 20 (Hibya) - Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that the poor segments of the United States will pay the price imposed by the ruling powers.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf spoke about the social and political structure of the United States and the socio-economic conditions of soldiers involved in wars.
Referring to the situation with a quote from the book “Hillbilly Elegy,” Ghalibaf said: “We felt trapped in two unwinnable wars, and a disproportionate number of the fighters came from our neighborhood” — JDV, Hillbilly Elegy, Chapter 11.
Highlighting the situation faced by poor Americans, Ghalibaf stated, “Hillbilly 2 is coming. America’s poor and forgotten people will pay the bill for the oligarchs, the devil Dimon, and the war merchants in Washington.”
