Israeli army: Qassem’s personal secretary Harrusi killed in Beirut
Tel Aviv, April 9 (Hibya) – The Israeli army announced that a figure close to the Hezbollah leader was neutralized in Beirut and multiple targets were struck in southern Lebanon.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement regarding operations in Beirut and southern Lebanon.
The statement said that Ali Yusuf Harrusi, the personal secretary of Hezbollah Secretary-General Na’im Qassem, was neutralized in an operation carried out in Beirut.
Harrusi was described as a figure close to the Hezbollah leader and responsible for advisory and coordination roles within the organization.
The IDF stated that crossing points used by Hezbollah militants in Lebanon were targeted overnight, adding: “Two main points used by militants for crossing along the Litani River line were struck.”
The statement also noted that around 10 weapons depots, rocket launchers, and headquarters belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon were targeted.
