Iran condemns the U.S. Navy’s seizure of a commercial vessel
Tehran, December 12 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei condemned the U.S. Navy’s military attack on a commercial vessel carrying Venezuelan oil in an area near Venezuela’s coast, as well as the seizure of the ship.

Baqaei said the U.S. act of detaining and seizing commercial vessels belonging to other countries amounts to a clear disregard for international law and a serious violation of the principles governing international maritime security and safety.
