The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a large-scale security operation overnight around the villages of Al Mughayyir and Khirbet Abu Falah, located in the Binyamin Brigade's area of responsibility in the West Bank.

According to an IDF statement, security forces were dispatched to the area after an Israeli civilian reported coming under gunfire. The statement added that there were no fatalities or injuries in the incident.

After Israeli troops arrived at the scene, extensive search operations were launched in the area where the armed attack was reported to have taken place.

The military also announced that search operations were continuing in the village of Al Mughayyir to apprehend the suspects believed to have carried out the attack, while access roads to the area were temporarily sealed off.
