IDF: IRGC spokesperson Ali Mohammad Naini killed
Tel Aviv, March 20 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Ali Mohammad Naini, spokesperson of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and head of its Public Relations Department, was killed in an overnight airstrike.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) added a new operation to its actions targeting senior officials of the Iranian regime in coordination with intelligence units.
In a statement, the IDF said: "The Air Force, acting on instructions from the Intelligence Directorate, carried out a night strike that killed IRGC spokesperson and head of the Public Relations Department Ali Mohammad Naini."
The statement noted that Naini had served over the past two years as the IRGC’s "chief propaganda distributor" and had encouraged terrorist acts against Israel through proxies in the Middle East.
Highlighting the strategic importance of the operation, the IDF stated: "The assassination of Naini adds to the elimination of dozens of senior regime officials during the operation. The Israel Defense Forces will continue to act with strength and determination against the leaders and commanders of the Iranian terrorist regime."
