IDF claims to have found weapons and explosive drone storage facility in Al-Khiam area
Jerusalem, November 1 (Hibya) - The Israeli military announced that the 769th Brigade Combat Team, operating in the security zone in southern Lebanon, had discovered weapons and items allegedly linked to Hezbollah during searches in the village of Al-Khiam. According to the Israeli military's statement, units under the command of the 91st Division are continuing operations in the area to eliminate threats against Israel.
The Israeli military announced that the 769th Brigade Combat Team, operating in the security zone in southern Lebanon, had discovered weapons and items allegedly linked to Hezbollah during searches in the village of Al-Khiam.
The military claimed that searches had uncovered weapons inside a civilian home, as well as a children's room containing symbols associated with Hezbollah. It also reported that the troops had destroyed a storage facility containing explosive unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and seized rockets, Kalashnikov rifles, helmets, protective vests, ammunition and explosive drones in the area.
The Israeli military stated that it would not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli citizens or military personnel, asserting that it would continue operations to eliminate threats while remaining committed to the ceasefire agreement.
