The Israel Defense Forces said it had intensified its operations against dozens of strategic infrastructures across Tehran in accordance with directives from the Intelligence Directorate.

The statement said that “the damage inflicted on all values and capabilities of the Iranian terrorist regime continues to deepen.”

One of the main targets of the attacks was the Space and Satellite Command controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The IDF shared the following details about the facility:

“The center served as a procurement, transmission, and research hub for the Iranian Space Organization. It also contained the control and operational infrastructure for the ‘Khayam’ satellite launched in August 2022, which has been used by the Revolutionary Guards to support terrorist activities and monitor the State of Israel and countries in the region.”
