German Foreign Minister Wadephul: Iraq is an important partner
New York, September 24 (Hibya) – German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said he held a constructive meeting with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein on the sidelines of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, adding that they discussed options for resolving the crises in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb.

Wadephul said Iraq is an important partner in a region facing a complex and constantly changing security environment, adding that they discussed solutions to the crises in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb during the meeting.
