Dar speaks with Uzbek Foreign Minister Saidov
Islamabad, June 20 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone call with Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Uzbek side congratulated Dar on the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
Appreciation was also expressed for the roles played by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Dar, and Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir in the process.
The statement highlighted Pakistan’s contribution to regional peace and stability and noted that both sides agreed to maintain the momentum of progress in the next stages as well.
