Currencies gain against the dollar in foreign exchange markets
Istanbul, September 18 (Hibya) - The euro, pound sterling and Australian dollar gained against the US dollar, while the dollar rose against the Japanese yen.
The euro/dollar pair rose 0.12 percent to 1.1488. The pound/dollar pair increased 0.09 percent to 1.3367.
The Australian dollar/US dollar pair climbed 0.27 percent to 0.7128. The dollar/Japanese yen pair rose 0.72 percent and traded at 157.08.
The dollar/Canadian dollar pair fell 0.06 percent to 1.398.
