Carney: New energy partnership will generate 14,000 megawatts
Ottawa, August 18 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that the new partnership between Newfoundland and Labrador and Quebec will provide 14,000 megawatts of clean electricity generation.
Carney said in a statement that the new partnership would generate "14,000 megawatts of clean electricity," adding that this capacity would be enough to power, heat and cool all the homes in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver combined.
Commenting on the importance of the partnership, Carney said, "When we build together, we build big."
