Canadian Foreign Minister Anand: An additional consular team is on its way to New York
Ottawa, March 23 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand issued a message of condolence regarding the plane crash in New York that claimed the lives of two pilots.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand made a statement following the tragic plane crash in New York, expressing her sorrow over the losses.
Commemorating the pilots who lost their lives, Anand said: "I would like to once again express my deep and indescribable sorrow over the loss of two pilots in this tragic accident. I am thinking of their families and friends, as well as the passengers on board, including those who were injured."
Anand added: "I am also thinking of the broader aviation community that feels this loss deeply."
Referring to the Canadian government’s efforts on the ground, Anand stated: "Our consular officials are in contact with local authorities and are providing assistance to passengers. An additional consular team is on its way to New York to support those affected."
