Budrys: Lithuania is in full solidarity with the people of Denmark and Greenland
Vilnius, December 22 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys stated that decisions regarding Denmark and Greenland belong solely to the relevant parties.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys made a statement on bilateral relations between Denmark and Greenland. Budrys said: “Lithuania is in full solidarity with the people of Denmark and Greenland.”
Referring to decisions related to Denmark and Greenland, Budrys stated: “All decisions concerning Denmark and Greenland belong exclusively to them.”
Emphasizing international law, Budrys said: “Territorial integrity and sovereignty are fundamental principles of international law. They are indispensable for global peace and stability.”
Budrys concluded his statement by saying: “Lithuania is ready to work together with our partners and allies to strengthen security in the Arctic.”
