Brekelmans: Our patrol vessel is closely monitoring developments
Amsterdam, January 9 (Hibya) – Dutch Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans stated that the patrol vessel Zr. Ms. Groningen continues its inspections due to the security situation between Curaçao and Bonaire.
Dutch Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans made a statement regarding the security situation in the region and ongoing patrol activities.
Referring to the vessel’s mission, Brekelmans said: “Our patrol vessel Zr. Ms. Groningen is operating between Curaçao and Bonaire. Due to the security situation, the ship is closely monitoring developments around the islands.”
Emphasizing the importance of the operation, the minister added: “Especially during such periods, this commitment and oversight are of vital importance.”
