Bayramov: We were pleased to advance cooperation with Sudan
Baku, May 19 (Hibya) - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said he was pleased to host Sudanese Foreign Minister Mohieddin Salem Ahmed Ibrahim and stated that they want to advance cooperation between the two countries.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made a statement regarding his meeting with Sudanese Foreign Minister Mohieddin Salem Ahmed Ibrahim and the agreement that was signed.
Drawing attention to the details of the meeting, Bayramov said, “We emphasized the importance of closer political dialogue, cooperation within the framework of the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), as well as expanded institutional partnerships. We also discussed the evolving regional security situation.”
Providing information on the outcomes of the visit, Minister Bayramov concluded his statement by saying, “Within the framework of the visit, an Agreement on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic Passports between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Sudan was also signed.”
