Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baqaei evaluated the attacks carried out by the US and Israel against Iran. Baqaei said these attacks are the “final piece” of a strategy aimed at controlling the global energy supply and that Iran’s oil reserves are being targeted.

Baqaei emphasized that Iran is not only defending itself against the attacks but also protecting sovereignty, the right to self-determination, the future of the region and international interests.

The spokesperson stated that the struggle includes global issues such as independence, sovereignty, respect for international norms and fair access to energy, calling on regional countries, partners in the Global South and the entire world to remain vigilant in the face of this situation.
