Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to CCTV, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said on Saturday that the United States (US) and Israel were directly responsible for the current turmoil in the Strait of Hormuz.

Baghaei argued that the situation was the result of the two countries’ “illegal actions.”

Baghaei said the Strait of Hormuz had been fully open before the US and Israel launched “illegal military operations” against Iran.

Claiming that the two countries used the strait and surrounding areas to carry out attacks against Iran, Baghaei said this had triggered the current instability.

The Iranian spokesperson emphasized that Iran, as a state, has the right and duty to take all necessary measures to protect its national interests and security.

Baghaei also strongly criticized the US naval blockade against Iran, describing it as an “act of aggression.” The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson argued that the US-imposed naval blockade violated a memorandum of understanding previously reached between the two sides.

Baghaei said that despite US intervention, negotiations between Iran and Oman were continuing constructively.

Stating that the two countries had agreed on a navigation plan that would allow ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, Baghaei said talks on regulating maritime traffic in the region were continuing.
