Andrabi: U.S.-Iran talks to resume on Tuesday
Islamabad, June 24 (Hibya) - Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi announced that the technical-level talks between the United States and Iran will resume next Tuesday following a short break.
According to CCTV, Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi announced that the technical-level talks between the United States and Iran will resume next Tuesday after a brief pause.
Speaking at a weekly press briefing, Andrabi stated that Pakistan and Qatar continue their contacts with technical teams from the United States and Iran to ensure the effective implementation of the peace Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the parties.
The spokesperson said that the memorandum and the first round of talks once again demonstrated that diplomacy and dialogue are the most effective means of resolving disputes and conflicts.
The statement also noted that Pakistan welcomed the positive assessments from the international community regarding its constructive role in promoting regional peace, reducing tensions, and supporting dialogue processes.
Andrabi also thanked all countries and international partners that supported Pakistan’s mediation initiatives.
