Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand commemorated the thousands of people who lost their lives in the attacks and their families, emphasizing that the solidarity and hospitality shown across Canada in the aftermath of the tragedy would not be forgotten.

Commenting on the anniversary of the attacks, Anand said: “Twenty-five years later, the September 11 terrorist attack continues to hold its place in our collective memory. We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day — including 24 Canadians — and every family that has carried the pain of that loss ever since.”

Drawing attention to the solidarity shown after the attack, Anand said: “We also remember the extraordinary acts of compassion shown in the aftermath of the attack. In Gander and in communities across Canada, people opened their doors to thousands of stranded passengers looking for somewhere to go.”

Anand concluded her statement by saying: “We will never forget those we lost or the humanity shown in the face of tragedy.”
