Albares: Our contribution to peace missions will continue
Madrid, November 3 (Hibya) – Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, met in Madrid with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix.
In a statement shared on his social media account, Albares emphasized Spain’s strong commitment to the United Nations and peacekeeping missions. “I once again expressed our steadfast support for the United Nations and peace missions,” he said. “This commitment is clearly reflected in our active participation in missions such as UNIFIL (the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon), which is key to the stability of the Middle East.”
Albares added that Spain will continue contributing to the preservation of global peace and security.
