Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared details of the phone call between Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.

During the call, the personnel who lost their lives in the helicopter crash that occurred in Qatar’s waters due to a technical malfunction were commemorated. The statement said: "His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Turkish Foreign Minister expressed their condolences for members of the Qatar Armed Forces, Qatar-Türkiye joint forces, and two Turkish civilian collaborators who were martyred during a routine mission due to a technical failure."

During discussions on the regional security crisis, "the two sides discussed the latest developments related to the ongoing military tensions in the region and their serious consequences for regional and international security and stability, as well as efforts to resolve disputes through peaceful means."

Emphasizing dialogue in managing the crisis, the parties stated: "They stressed the importance of immediately halting actions that escalate tensions, returning to the negotiating table, and intensifying coordination and joint efforts to prioritize dialogue and prudence in order to contain the crisis."

It was also noted that "the need to ensure global energy security, guarantee freedom of navigation, protect the environment, and maintain regional stability" was emphasized during the meeting.
