Al Sani holds phone call with Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi
Doha, March 4 (Hibya) - Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Sani held a phone call with Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi.
According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Sani held a telephone conversation with Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi.
During the call, developments regarding the military tensions in the region and their serious impacts on regional and international security and stability were discussed, along with ways to resolve all disputes through peaceful means.
Al Sani confirmed that Iran’s attack on Qatari territory constitutes a clear violation of national sovereignty, contradicts the principles of good neighborliness, and cannot be accepted under any justification or pretext.
Minister Motegi, for his part, expressed concern about the developments in the region and called on all parties to exercise common sense and return to negotiations and diplomatic channels to prevent further chaos.
